This workshop is perfect for those who already have a good grasp of hand sewing and embroidery which can often be quite fiddly and requires a level of persistence! During the day's workshop, you will explore stitch and embroidery techniques to craft your own unique bird creation. All materials are provided for along with the bird base, however, please feel free to bring along your own selection of special fabrics and cherished materials.
 

I will go through each step from assembling the bird body, to attaching the legs and embellishing your bird with a combination of fabric manipulation and stitching methods. If you do not wish to create a robin, then there is an array of colourful fabrics for you to make another similar song bird or one as bold and as brilliant as you like!
 

The workshop is a great opportunity to not only improve your skills but also to connect with fellow crafters who share a love for textiles and creativity. By the end of the workshop, everyone will have a stunning, handmade bird to take home, along with new creative approaches and inspiration for future projects. Please note if you no not manage to complete your bird in the session, I encourage you to take a small bag of materials for you to complete at home.
